Reiki for Animals
Reiki can be used with dogs, cats and horses just as it can with people. In Reiki practice, animals are also understood to have an energy system with chakras that can be reached through Reiki energy.
Animals respond to Reiki very individually and often quite differently from people. Some stay calm and relaxed throughout the treatment, while others move around, get up or step away for a while. That's why I work gently and without pressure, always at the animal's own pace. Your animal gets to decide how much closeness and contact feels right in each moment.
Animals have been part of my life for as long as I can remember, and I've always felt a special connection to them. I bring that same calm, intuitive and attentive way of being with them into every Reiki treatment.
Treatment length
A Reiki treatment for animals takes around 45 to 60 minutes in total, including a short conversation before and afterwards. The Reiki treatment itself usually lasts around 30 minutes, depending entirely on your animal and what feels right in the moment. Breaks are always possible, and I follow your animal's pace throughout.
